We are dedicated to spreading the word to families on how their baby’s umbilical cord blood can be a life-saving gift to patients afflicted with leukemia, lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and many other life threatening illnesses. It is important to inform potential bone marrow and cord blood donors on the process of donating, to make the process easier, and to afford more people the opportunity to do so.


for this organization is Barbara and her dedication to helping others and raising awareness of how vitally important cord blood and bone marrow donation is. Even while she was undergoing treatment in the hospital, her focus remained on what she would do to help others when she got better.
